Dreaming Of Brimfield...

Good morning!

I have been waiting ever so patiently for the next Brimfield show to happen. Most of you know what Brimfield is, but if you don't, it is considered "America's Best Antique Show." Lucky for me, it's in Brimfield, Massachusetts, which is only about a little over an hour away from me. People come from all over the country to attend this week long event. I have heard lots of famous people hit it up too, including Ralph Lauren and Martha Stewart, {but who knows if that's really true...} But it is FULL of lovely people antiquing their little hearts out. It is a massive show... a mile long, on both sides of the road, with over 6,000 dealers. The prices range from really expensive to bargains galore.

I'm a bit early to be dreaming about Brimfield since it doesn't happen until May {and again in July and September!} The July show is definitely a little too hot for my liking; I prefer the May show. But I'm already gearing up for what I want to buy... I get so excited driving up there and walking into the show. Here are a few pictures of the show:

I love this dealer. Old ceiling tin mirrors. My brother bought me one as a Christmas gift. I love it! It weighs a million pounds, but is so beautiful.

And visions of Brimfield dance through my head...
